Business Development Manager – Vodafone Business

Due to our new partnership with Vodafone Business Ireland, we are currently recruiting for Business Development Managers to build lasting relationships with small to medium-sized business (SME) customers and promote the Vodafone portfolio of products. The successful candidate will be tenacious, extremely motivated and will have relevant experience in a sales environment with a proven, successful ability to sell. CPM Ireland have a passion for our people, our B2B teams’ Team Leaders and Management structure are grown from our internal teams as we believe they best embody the CPM values and the Vodafone brand. 

 

We are currently hiring Business Development Managers in the following regions:

  • Cork
  • Limerick
  • Dublin

 

Package

Up to €32,000 basic salary DOE

• €4,800 car allowance per annum
• 50% bonus (Uncapped) commission structure
• Company Fuel card
• Company laptop
• Daily expenses (lunch, mobile, parking and tolls)
• Business hours 9-5 Monday to Friday
• Career development and progression (92% of our Managers being recruited from within)

 

Responsibilities:

Results

• To convert “leads” supplied by Vodafone and ‘cold call’ customer premises, as appropriate, to exceed defined sales targets
• Manage a defined geographic territory selling directly to SME (Small Medium Enterprise) and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) customers 
• To achieve required sale targets 
• To develop a detailed understanding of customer pipeline in a defined territory
• Structured journey planning to maximise prospects in the territory
• Effective telephone appointment setting to make appointments each day in the field
• Face to face presentation calls to decision makers
• Secure referrals daily that secures a face to face presentation to a decision maker

 

Functional

• To provide competitor feedback and industry insight
• To maintain knowledge on all new and existing products and services from competitors
• To represent Vodafone in a consistently professional manner
• To understand the customers’ industry and requirements
• Daily CRM access to ensure all information is updated regularly
• Organise paperwork and posting of customer orders
• Develop and meet customer needs 
• Sell a solution that delivers value to both the customer and to Vodafone
• To generate new ideas and ways of working
• To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
• To ensure that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

 

Qualifications

Full clean licence and your own transport is essential 

• F2F sales experience within the Telecoms market desirable
• Very strong focus on results and achieving set targets daily, weekly and monthly
• Positive attitude interacting with customer, colleagues and client
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage contacts in defined territory
• Teamwork orientated individual able to share best practice and add to positive team dynamic
• Works on own initiative and is continually looking at ways to improve sales performance
• Strong analysis and judgement skills to prioritise opportunities
• Self motivation and drive to deliver consistent results.
• Awareness of the Irish Business Arena at local and national levels to maintain pipeline
• Must have strong PC Skills. Microsoft Excel and email etiquette experience is essential
• Experience with a CRM tool is desired. Salesforce.com experience is preferred 
• Demonstrate a belief in the importance of the customer and a willingness to meet and exceed customer expectations
