We here at CPM are currently hiring a Business Unit Director to join our ever growing team in Dublin.
To act as a member of the CPM Ireland Senior Leadership Team. Being directly responsible for leading a Business Unit, delivering for our strategic clients while generating new opportunities for both our clients and CPM, living our philosophy to Grow with our Clients.
As a generator of growth, you will have held senior positions at either a Brand, Retailer or Agency being responsible for client/customer growth and strategy and have experience of how you embrace the Omni channel world to maximise growth.
Lasting Senior Client Relationships are based on trust and great delivery, you will have the experience and future looking ‘mind-set’ to be the ‘Trusted Advisor’ at a Senior level.
Being a part of a Retailer and Brand community, you will be at the forefront of the latest Consumer and Digital trends to understand how both Sales and Customer Experience can be maximised. You will understand how Retailers, Brands and manufacturers are structured to ensure CPM can maximise Client value through a wide network of relationships.
Brand and Consumer Insights are at the heart of both your thinking and solutions, in addition you understand that sharing both the data and relevance to a wider CPM audience is a clear responsibility as part of the role.
Retailers are always looking to maximise sales and manage operational costs to drive value, you will have a clear strategy and a growth mindset as to how CPM can support these objectives and ultimately deliver CPM growth of both existing and new Clients.
Retailers and Brands operate on a Matrix structure to deliver both Value and Operational excellence, you will have operated as part of this type of structure and have experience of maximising its benefit through great communication and internal relationships.
Proactively engaging with Retailers and Brands to demonstrate how CPM can drive Sales and give great Consumer experiences is key to the success of this role, therefore a clear strategy to target, engage and present the CPM portfolio of products is required.

CPM’s Leadership Team are all responsible for the growth of the business and as Client Director this is a primary focus of the role. Using your abilities to communicate at the highest level, flexing style and messaging to pull together compelling pitch propositions, tell amazing stories and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions to our existing and new clients to maximise their growth potential is pivotal to this role.
To develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales and profit within the Business Unit – Client Retention and Growth and New Client Acquisition. To identify key Prospects and target with a ‘value’ story that will ultimately lead to an increase in Clients, revenue and profit for CPM
To maintain and develop Senior Client Relationships, including the management of regular client review meetings, ongoing internal review meetings and continuous improvement meetings.
To review performance of the operation, both financially and against agreed Key Result Areas. To work effectively with the team and all internal departments to ensure consistent delivery of internal & external SLA’s and timely briefings to deliver to client objectives. To lead all client quarterly reviews and formal reports. To work with client delivery to resolve client operational issues and/or complaints as quickly as possible, ensuring through a Matrix structure that operation is delivering Client and Customer excellence
To control budgets and resources in line with department financial plan. On-going management of financial forecasting process ensuring efficiencies and maximum profitability are delivered.
