This is a nationwide role, the focus of this role is to support our clients by delivering exceptional service through best in class sales, merchandising and team support.

The Tactical Manager will live the CPM values of Freedom, Integrity, Excellence, Respect & Integrity and will support their Team by example through their passion and commitment for the role


The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:

  • Manage, lead and oversee the Tactical Field Team to ensure the succeful delivery of Tactical department projects
  • Recruitment and development of all direct reports
  • Liaise with the wider Operations Team to ensure that the Tactical Team delivers a first-class service to the rest of the business and clients
  • Ensure Tactical Teams compliance in reporting requirements
  • Provide effective communication routes between CPM departments
  • Utilise the company’s systems and databases whilst identifying opportunities to add value and enhance the service provided to the Client Service team.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports to management as required
  • Generate new ideas and ways of working focusing on efficiencies
  • Be a point of contact for the CPM CSM’s for resource allocations

Required Experience & Competencies:



  • Significant experience working in a retail focused field team
  • Track record of exceptional performance in a fast-paced retail field environment
  • Strong planning, organising and reporting skills
  • A confident communicator with good negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in basic IT and reporting skills


  • Previous experience in retail sales and merchandising
  • Passion for field-based working, with an ability to both work autonomously and create strong relationships
  • Highly driven with enthusiasm to meet challenging but realistic targets and to excel under demanding pressure
  • Trustworthy, professional and reliable
  • Self-motivated and flexible in approach to work practices
  • An excellent team player who will thrive on working closely with the team to meet challenging but achievable targets
  • Commitment to continual personal and team development
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Full driving licence

  • Initiative and ability to perform independently and without direct supervision
  • Problem solving skills and a drive to identify and implement new ways of working
