Tactical Merchandiser – Mayo and Sligo

Here at CPM, we are now hiring Tactical Merchandisers to join our teams across specific regions in Ireland.

 

*PLEASE NOTE: This is a a part-time contract. Maximum working hours given a week would be 25 hours 

 

The areas we are currently focusing on are:

Mayo

Sligo 

 

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Merchandiser role will involve working as part of a team to deliver high visibility for the client.  Core focus for the role would be stock rotation and planogram compliance. They will be required to seek out opportunities in store and deliver results to CPM and Client standards in order to assist of sales growth across categories. Merchandisers will be expected to work on their own initiative and build strong relationships with store managers and achieve additional displays.

 

 

Package:

€12.50 p/hour in-store time
€9.85 travel time, not including travel from home to their first call, or from their last call home
€13 p/day daily allowance (this is in place of mileage)

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • To adhere to journey plans given by line manager
  • To ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on Planogram compliance, maximising promotional space and negotiating with Store Manager
  • Record relevant sales and merchandiser requirements, competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Ensure stock is rotated at all times and any short dated stock is recorded on XDA and highlighted to store manager;
  • Maintain and grow planogram space where possible;
  • Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product;
  • Merchandise all promotional ends and ensure correct pricing is in place;
  • Capture before and after photographs on a hand held device
  • Liaise with store manager prior to leaving ensure they are happy with work completed;
  • Liaise with Territory Manager before and after each call;
  • Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team;
  • To generate new ideas and ways of working
  • To support all product launches and promotions and develop presence in-store
  • To maintain all CPM standards and policies
  • To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
  • To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

Qualifications:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • FMCG Experience
  • Familiar with technology
  • Previous Multiple Stores/ Impulse Stores Merchandising Experience
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organisational Skills
