Due to expansion with one of our blue chip FMCG clients we have a number of Territory Manager roles nationwide with a leading alcohol supplier. This supplier has amazing global brands and a great reputation within the Irish grocery market.

 

The role of a Territory Manager is to develop business and maximise orders / sales in & out in their assigned stores across all skus. The Territory Manager role is a combination of sales, merchandising and activating. They are responsible for the availability of core range, share of space and activations.

 

The Territory Manager will be responsible for all facia within their geographical region. A typical day will consist of a mixture of calls and the Territory Manager will be both Selling and merchandising, it is expected that the role will be 50% of time selling and 50% Merchandising.

 

Package on offer

  • 30k plus 10% bonus based on performance

 

Responsibilities

  • To increase business and maximise sales
  • Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan
  • Deliver and execute the agreed objectives and targets as set out by your line manager
  • Ensure Distribution and Availability of core range and process appropriate orders electronically for all stores to prevent gaps and merchandise Off Sales during every visit
  • Sell in and build activations in line with company targets
  • Merchandising off sales
  • To understand and identify the needs of the customer
  • Communicate effectively with store management and line managers
  • Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets
  • Constantly strive to reach highest standards of performance
  • Maintain CPM and Client standards at all times
  • Conference call once a week, meeting once a month/Qtr
  • To generate new ideas and ways of working
  • To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
  • To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
  • No Stock & Order in Dunnes Stores due to central distribution

Qualifications

  • Full driving licence
  • Previous sales or merchandising experience in the retail sector
  • Must have energy and enthusiasm
  • A good understanding of the FMCG sector with knowledge of the convenience channel desirable
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Attention to detail & target driven
  • Technology Aware
