Vodafone Consumer Team Leader

Due to our new partnership with Vodafone Business Ireland, we are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to manage a team of Field Sales Representatives selling fixed line and mobile services to consumers on behalf of Vodafone. The successful candidate will support the Regional Sales Manager by taking responsibility of coaching, mentoring and development to a team of Field Sales Representatives to ensure delivery of agreed targets.



The purpose of the role:

– To support the Regional Sales Manager in coaching and developing a Residential Field Sales Team
– To provide leadership to team members through own behaviours and sales performance
– To work as part of a field sales Team generating new customers on behalf of the client
– To deliver personal sales targets to support the overall Team performance



• Up to €35,000 per year DOE

• €15,000 OTE bonus
• Car allowance, expenses, fuel card and mobile phone
• Career development and progression (92% of our Managers being recruited from within)




  • Carry out field accompaniments and 121 meetings with Field Sales Representatives as directed by Sales Manager
  • Provide coaching and development for all Team members
  • Making sales along with the team
  • Manage all issues and incidents in Sales Manager’s absence
  • Calling on potential customers in their homes, selling Vodafone products
  • Delivery of personal and Team sales targets
  • Follow up where required supporting all Head Office sales processing procedures
  • Work to set standards as defined by the Sales Manager
  • Continuous reporting of field intelligence to ensure field opportunities are identified and grasped.
  • To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective, efficient and professional manner when completing all tasks and representing your company and client
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as requested by your Sales Manager
  • Ensure Team are acting compliantly at all times
  • Manage Team sales quality and compliance in support of the Sales Manager
  • Establish communication with Field Sales Reps on a daily basis
  • Ensure that Reps are successful in reaching/exceeding their targets as set by the Sales Manager
  • Ensure that the Sales Manager is informed of all competitive activities and operational updates from the field




  • Full clean driving licence and own transport is essential
  • Direct sales experience
  • Proven experience of coaching with demonstrable results
  • Strong communicator with the ability to adapt style to individual team members
  • Positive Attitude with a winning mindset
  • Professional presentation and appearance a must
  • Resilient – flexible with changing environments
  • Work on own initiative using common sense
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Excellent Attendance record
